Zuccardi Valle de Uco brings together three generations of our family, united by our passion for cultivating wines that express the unique identity of the terroir.

Our vineyards are planted in a high-altitude mountain desert, among alluvial soils with large stones and rich in calcium carbonate. Each vineyard has a unique identity, related to its soils, climate, landscape and history.

Fósil is a white mountain wine. It comes from vineyards cultivated in the Paraje Estancia within the IG San Pablo, at 1400 meters (4,593 ft) of elevation, and less than one kilometer (3,280 ft) away from the beginning of the Andes Mountains.

The immensity of the mountain range and its proximity make everything in this place extreme: its climate, its landscape, its identity.

Fósil is a wine of place. Born from the unrepeatable combination of cold climate, calcareous soils, and Andean breezes from one of the highest areas of the Uco Valley.
