Domaine de l’ Espigouette is now run by Bernard Latour, his wife, and two sons, Julian and Emilien. The name of the wines, Vignobles Edmond Latour, are named after their grandfather. They carefully work the vineyard according to the climatic characteristics of vintage and different terroirs. The diversity of the soil allows for complexity to the different wines of this area, the hills provide rich, bold wines, while sandy, clay soils provide elegance, finesse, and depth. The vines have an average age of 45 years old. The family works in the vineyards and selects the grapes for maximum ripeness and concentration when harvested the grapes are carefully sorted before entering the winery.

Dark red in colour, deep in purple tints. Good clarity and good brightness. Aromas of Laurel, Thyme, Rosemary. Then an explosion of black fruit. Tannic, but the tannins are well coated and smooth, balance between power and freshness is perfect.
