Founded in 2005, Purple Hands works passionately to offer an experience of humble luxury—drawn from the details of a deep geologic story, expressed through authentically Oregon Pinot noir and Chardonnay.

Lone Oak Ranch is intended as an introduction to Purple Hands, sold exclusively through our distributors. It is a cuvée from seven premier vineyards from five Willamette Valley AVAs: Dundee Hills, Yamhill-Carlton, Ribbon Ridge, Eola-Amity, and Mount Pisgah. This elegant Pinot Noir includes fruit from all of our vineyard-designates.

Purple Hands is a low intervention, purity-driven winery. Ferments are a mixture of techniques: native yeasts, and some commercial strains as needed. 20% whole cluster for 2022. Skin macerations are vintage-dependent styles. Wines are bottled unfined and unfiltered to retain the honesty of the vineyard and vintage.
