The Calvarino vineyard lies in the heart of the Soave Classico area and forms part of the historic family estate acquired in 1901. Its name derives from “Little Calvary”, a reference both to the challenging basaltic soils and to the steep, winding path leading to the vineyard. Produced since 1971, Calvarino is an iconic wine and the first Italian white wine to be identified by a single vineyard. It represents one of the purest, most authentic and longest-lived expressions of Soave Classico.
