Blend: 85% Pinot Noir, 15% Chardonnay

Champagne Lacourte-Godbillon is run by husband-and-wife team Richard Desvignes and Géraldine Lacourte, who took over the estate from Lacourte’s parents in 2006. They are roughly the ninth generation of Champagne growers to run the estate, and they are the third generation to bottle and sell Champagne under their own label, rather than selling the grapes to other houses. Located in Ecueil, a premier cru village in the “petite” Montagne de Reims, Lacourte-Godbillon grows organic Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the sandy, chalky vineyards throughout their village, most of which are located just a few minutes from the winery.
