At La Spinona, Barbaresco wine has been a family affair for five generations. Since the last century, the Berutti family has placed its faith in the hills surrounding the town of Barbaresco, a place that is particularly suited to producing exceptional wines.

Pietropaolo Berutti runs La Spinona, supported by his father Gualtiero, continuing a family tradition of viticulture and winemaking that spans five generations.

Barbaresco, made from carefully selected Nebbiolo grapes, shows a ruby-red color that tends to garnet with aging. The bouquet is spicy (white pepper, licorice), balsamic, (eucalyptus) full and round with hints of aromatic herbs (pine, white mint, and bay leaf).
On the palate it is velvety, harmonious, and elegant, with fine-grained tannins.
