Head High | Pinot Noir | Sonoma County | 2022
The 2022 Sonoma County Pinot Noir is a masterpiece of balance and complexity. The bouquet has notes of tea leaves and cola complemented by bright cranberry and a subtle earthiness. Medium tannins provide structure while delivering a lush mouthfeel, culminating in a clean, lingering finish.
We source 100 percent of our fruit from our home base of Sonoma County. The goal in every bottle of Head High is to properly express the diversity of our growing region. We are very intentional in clonal selections to best structure full body and unique wines. Our winemaking philosophy is purposefully minimal to allow the fruit Sonoma County produces to shine.
Bill Price, our Proprietor and owner of renowned wineries such as Three Sticks, Kistler, and Gary Farrell, offers a wealth of experience with the wine industry and a high standard for quality. “I started Head High in 2009 with the idea that excellent wine could be enjoyed for a fair price.”
