Our Sancerre wines are from our vineyards growing on the steep slopes surrounding the village of Sury-en-vaux. The Pouilly Fumé wines come from the limestone-clay soils of the appellation, in the commune of Saint- Martin-Sur-Nohain. As for the Coteaux du Giennois, they are harvested on the slopes of Saint-Père overlooking the Loire and the town of Cosnesur-Loire.
We respect all specifications required for maintaining a sustainable and a responsible process of winemaking. We take nothing for granted, climates change, knowledge evolves, and our eforts will always continue to satisfyyou, our clients.
Philippe Raimbault Les Fossiles Sancerre is crafted from Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown in the renowned Sancerre region of the Loire Valley, known for its limestone-rich soils. The vineyard's unique terroir imparts a distinct minerality to the wine, complemented by the cool climate which preserves the grape's natural acidity. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks to maintain fresh fruit flavors and crispness. This Sancerre offers a vibrant expression with notes of citrus and green apple, making it an ideal choice for those who appreciate a clean, refreshing style of white wine.
