Founded by Guy and Judy Davis in 1997, Davis Family Vineyards has been a lifelong endeavor to bring people together and create community with delicious wines. From our Estate Vineyard, Soul Patch, in the heart of Russian River Valley, we have grown a family as we’ve helped grow this wine region through careful craftsmanship and earth friendly farming. After working his entire life in the vineyard and winery, Guy has been joined by his youngest son and Assistant Winemaker, Cooper. Together, they craft a wide range of limited wines from organically and sustainably farmed vineyards with minimal intervention and a lot of passion for every detail of farming and fermentation.

This vintage is stunning, the first comeback from the drought years. Although the crop was small, the flavors are amazingly intense, with layers and complexity as good as any we've ever released over the last 12 years, since we first began working with this selection of vineyards in Rockpile Ridge, the Mountains above Lake Sonoma.

As a family of farmers, we have more than 20 years of history of growing and purchasing sustainably farmed, organic, or biodynamic grapes. It is better for the environment and soil health, as well as the quality of our wines. We don’t just believe, we know that great wine is impossible without responsibly farmed fruit. We are honored to partner with some of California’s premier grape-growers in our endless pursuit of perfection.
