The history of Château Ducru-Beaucaillou goes back to the very beginning of the 18th century, precisely to the year 1720. It is so named because of the beautiful (and large) stones characteristic of its unique terroir. This Merlot based wine is a beautiful expression of Haut-Médoc that was created in 2019 to celebrate the anniversary of the estates 300th harvest.

Deep violet colour with an abundance of red fruits, plum and cherry, and a touch of violets. The flavours are well concentrated giving depth and breadth to the palate, with a fresh, pleasant finish. Well-constructed.

Madame de Beaucaillou 2020 will age for twelve months in Bordeaux barrels, 20% in new oak and the balance in one-year old barrels (twelve months). Certified French oak, naturally matured outdoors for a guaranteed minimum of three years.
