Château Dompierre winery is located in Saint-Laurent-Médoc, near Pauillac in Bordeaux. The vineyards of Pauillac are located next to super second Grand Cru Classés. The vineyards of Haut-Médoc are located in Saint-Seurin de Cadourne, just above St Estèphe and the vineyards of Médoc in Saint-Cristoly-Médoc. All facing the Garonne River.

Michel Aroldi's winemaking technique, aimed at imparting finesse and elegance to the
wine becomes even more crucial when the terroir in question proves to be powerful.
The vineyard is located north of Saint-Estephe, and the wine emerges as a perfect
example of a Haut-Medoc whose silky tannins resemble velvet.
