Can Sumoi is the name of an estate, a winery, and a wine label but, above all, it’s the name of an idea: that of feeling nature, working on its form, and turning it into wine.
This is how we undertook this project, which is based on the preservation of the landscape, the recovery of high mountain vineyards in the heart of the Penedès and the production of minimal intervention, organic wines that express, in each bottle, a way of understanding viticulture, that is, of respecting nature, that is, of understanding the world.
Coming from high-altitude vineyards, which is the natural and optimal terrain for a variety like montònega, this sparkling wine made by using an traditional method is fresh, intense, and fabulously seductive.
